Hiredeck is now better than ever, and the updates give you way more flexibility and control and cut your submission time even more than it already does!

Our latest release - which dropped on Monday - is something a lot of you have been asking for. You guys come first, which is why our dev team has been working around the clock to get it ready to go, and it’s all around CV formatting.

We know this is a huge pain point for recruiters, whether you do them yourself or outsource this task. But if you want it done properly it takes longer than it needs to. With our new features including templates, AI tags and a full editing suite, you can do it by yourself giving you full control and get it done in a matter of minutes! 

“Templates? AI-tags?? Come again?”. If you have no idea what we’re on about, you’re in the right place. Here’s a quick overview of what’s landed this week in Hiredeck.

What’s changed?

Hiredeck already helped format CVs which saved users hours of their week, but we had some feedback that you’d like full control of what’s output. You can still parse CVs as you currently do, edit information, and download or send them out via the portal, but now you have all the power with these new features 👇

Brand new CV formatter 🙌

This one’s a biggie and gives you far more flexibility than you currently have 🤸‍♀️. Now, once you’ve parsed a CV, you can use our new editing suite to edit content, move and delete sections and add new content more easily. You can even still redact candidate information on the CV in one click. Just like before - but better! Inside the editing suite, you’ll find:

• CV parser: Our parser is the best on the market and no, we’re not just saying that. Our dev team didn’t like what other parsers could do, so they built their own so it has a unique algorithm that delivers greater accuracy and higher quality. 

• Templates: Choose from a pre-set CV template in your agency branding.

• Edit CVs easier: Make quick fixes in the ‘Edit’ tab, such as text and move around columns.

• Design new CVs: Get creative! Have full control over your CV layout and add, move or delete information in the ‘Design’ tab.

• Send in seconds: We have new export options allowing you to download your completed file as a .pdf or .docx (or send it as a candidate portal).

Create and manage CV templates

Templates inside Hiredeck allow admin users to create a bank of CV layouts that your entire agency can use. These will be fully branded with your pre-set header and footer, logos, brand colours and font. This will create a hub where your recruiters can select from a range of CVs, guaranteeing brand consistency. 

Your recruiters need freedom and flexibility too. So, each template can be edited on a CV-by-CV basis!

Advanced AI-capability

We love a good AI feature. So of course, it’s used to build your templates with minimum input from you. You can add work information, education, references and recruiter details which have all been parsed from each CV. Plus, some extra info with AI-tags.

“WTF are AI-tags?”. This is a life-changing new feature (okay maybe not life-changing, but definitely time-saving) along with templates which allow you to use AI to create bespoke content that can be used when creating CVs. All you have to do is provide a prompt and then add it to your CV. Some prompt examples could be:

• List all computer and IT skills
• Highlight 5 key candidate strengths that relate to the role of [X]
• Generate a short summary of the candidate

The best part is, all information can then be edited by the recruiter so if the robots haven’t got it quite right, it’s a quick fix!
